HOW TO REGISTER

Register online using the buttons above to start a team, join a team, or register as an individual.

The 2012 Race for the Cure will be held on October 13, 2012 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront (31st Street Park). Day-of Registration and site opens at 7:00am and the Race for the Cure starts at 8:30am.

Registration Types and Prices-

Individual (11 years of age +): $35.00 pre-registered, $40.00 at Expo and/or Race Day

Team Member (Teams consist of 10+ people, must register by October 1, 2012 at 4:00pm): $30.00 pre-registered only

Kids for the Cure (Children 10 and under): $10.00

Sleep-in for the Cure (not participating on Race Day, mailed a pillowcase): $35.00

VIP (FREE Parking permit and name along Race course): $100.00, must register on or before October 1st to guarantee parking pass

 

Pre-Race Expo

This year's Expo will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn at Town Center in Virginia Beach (252 Town Center Drive, Viriginia Beach, VA 23462) on Thursday, October 11th and Friday, October 12th (Times TBD). Participants will have the opportunity to meet and greet with sponsors, pick up their t-shirts, turn in donation monies, and have family members register for Race. Afterwards, check out the many opportunities for dining and entertainment right in the heart of Virginia Beach. 

Individuals will have to pick up their own packets, however, this year, team captains will have the opportunity to pick up their entire team's packets. Team Captains please coordinate with your team members.

 

SELF or GQ Magazine Option

Included with your online Race for the Cure registration is a one-year subscription to either SELF or GQ Magazine ($12 value.) You will not be billed for this subscription, it is a special bonus included with your registration.

Register by mail by mailing your completed Race entry form along with payment.

Register in-person prior to and the day of the Race. There will be a $5.00 upcharge in registration if registering at the Pre-Race Health and Wellness Expo and/or Race Day. (Please see pricing and deadlines above).
