One late night phone call from your doctor, can change your life FOREVER. That's the case for me. My doctor informed me that We have a long journey ahead of us and she would be by my side the whole time.
Seeing the image of this disease in my body made me not just think of myself, but also my kids. How do I tell my kids, my family and my friends? How do I try to understand this illness myself? How do I fight? Well, I can answer that question. I have my Heavenly Father, kids, family, friends, and my team of doctors, by my side. Also, my parents taught me to fight and not be a quitter. That's why in honor of my parents, our team name is Sunshine Bears (their nicknames). So I fight using everything I got.
I ask that every woman, PLEASE, get your annual mammograms done, The Cancer that has tried to knock down my spirits is a rare form, Triple Negative aggressive cancer. Annual mammograms can miss this form of cancer, so to be safe, don't miss any. Pass this message on to your love ones, friends, even your enemies. We need to fight to knock out Breast Cancer and all cancers.
This year, I registered for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure because I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer and need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. 75 percent of the money raised through the Race stays in the community to fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent supports groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Thank you for your support and prayers,
